What an amazing experience

I opened up the Spiced Chai Tea box and was intrigued by not only the tea, which was reminiscent of a Sylhet tea a friend got me from Bangladesh, but also all of the spices, with two cardamom pods greeting me on top of the tea blend. The scent was incredible, bringing me back to the first time I had a chai tea in a high school summer camp. The first pour really hit the spices hard, almost to an imbalance with the tea. But adding in a spoon of demerara sugar made so much of a difference, with the sweetness balancing the flavors. Even more so did the milk, making a spiced chai latte that mellows out the harshness of the pure tea blend, resulting in a full and amazing experience!
